
Ingredients –
- 55 gm chocolate
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt (I did not use as I used salted butter)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Method –
- Melt the chocolate and butter over hot water
- Beat in the sugar
- Beat in the eggs one after another
- Sift the flour, baking powder and salt and stir it in
- Mix in the chopped walnuts
- Spread in a well greased 8” square pan
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes until the top has a dull crust.
