Methi Alu Bhaji (Fenugreek Leaves Potatoes Stir Fry)


  • 8 bunches of fenugreek leaves
  • 2 small potatoes cubed
  • 1 tbsp ginger and garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 green chilli, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste

Method –

  1. Chop the methi leaves and wash well.
  2. Heat oil in a kadhai
  3. When the oil is hot, add ginger, garlic and chilli. Sauté till fragrant
  4. Add the potatoes and sauté for a minute
  5. Add 2 tbsp water
  6. Cover and cook till potatoes turn soft, stirring a couple of times
  7. Add turmeric powder and mix well
  8. Add the methi leaves and cook till the water has evaporated
  9. Add salt and mix well
  10. Turn off the flame
