Condensed Milk Shortbread


  • 1 cup/225 gm butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup/150 gm condensed milk
  • 2 cups/240 gm all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tbsp baking powder

Method –

  1. Beat the butter well for about 3 minutes till light and creamy
  2. Add the condensed milk and beat for further 2 minutes till it has blended well
  3. Sift in the flour and baking powder. Mix until just combined
  4. Rest this mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
  5. Make small balls from the dough and place at least 2” apart on the cookie sheet
  6. Gently press the tops to flatten slightly
  7. Bake at 170°C for 15 minutes till golden brown
