
Ingredients–
- Boneless chicken, cut in bite sized pieces – 500 gm
- Salt to taste
- 2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- 4 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 4 tbsp cornflour
- 2 tbsp rice flour
- 4 tsp lemon juice
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- Oil for deep frying
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 tsp chopped garlic
- 2-3 slit green chillies
- 2 dry red chillies
- A sprig of curry leaves
Method –
- Marinate the chicken with chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, ginger garlic paste, cornflour, rice flour, lemon juice and salt to taste
- Mix well
- Add egg. Mix well. Set aside for 30 minutes
- Heat oil for deep frying in a deep pan
- Add the chicken pieces and fry in batches.
- Remove onto an absorbent paper
- In another pan, heat 2 tbsp oil
- Add cumin seeds
- When it crackles, add garlic
- Add green chillies, red chillies and curry leaves
- Add red chilli paste/sauce
- Add the chicken back into the pan
- Sauté for 2 minutes and serve
