
Ingredients–
- French beans – 250 gm
- Bengal gram dal – 1 tsp
- Urad dal – 1 tsp
- Black mustard seeds – 1 tsp
- Freshly grated coconut- 1/2 cup
- Green chillies – 3
- Curry leaves – 10
- Lemon juice – 1/2 tsp
- Oil – 2 tsp
- Salt to taste
Method –
- Wash and string the beans. Cut into 1/2” pieces
- Heat oil in a kadhai
- Add mustard seeds, chana dal and urad dal
- Let the dal change colour
- Add green chillies and curry leaves
- Add the beans and saute
- Add salt
- Cover with a lid and let the beans cook in its moisture for 4-5 minutes
- The beans should remain crunchy
- Add grated coconut
- Stir and cook for a minute
- Remove from flame
- Add the lemon juice and mix
