
Ingredients–
- 500 gm spinach, cleaned and chopped
- 4-5 baby potatoes, sliced in half
- 1 medium onion finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tomato chopped
- 1 green chilli, slit
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- A pinch of asafoetida powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp mustard oil
Method –
- Heat oil in a pan
- Add onion, ginger garlic paste and asafoetida powder
- Let the onions become light brown
- Add chopped potatoes and turmeric powder
- Stir and cook on high heat for 2-3 minutes
- Add spinach and mix well
- Add salt, chopped tomato and green chilli
- Cover with lid and cook on low heat till water evaporates
- Adjust spices and remove from flame
