Chayote Squash Stirfry

Ingredients

  • 3 medium sized chayote squash
  • 1 tsp panch phoran
  • 2 dry red chillies
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste

Method –

  1. Cut the chayote squash into small pieces
  2. Heat oil in a wok
  3. Add panch phoran and dry red chillies
  4. Add the chayote squash and cook on medium heat for 3-4 minutes
  5. Add turmeric powder and salt
  6. Lower the heat and cook covered, stirring occasionally till done
