Paneer Fried Rice


  • 1 cup leftover rice
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium tomato, finely chopped
  • 100 gm paneer cut into cubes
  • 1 green chilli, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Spring onion to garnish

Method –

  1. Soak the paneer in warm water for 10 minutes, drain and set aside
  2. Heat oil in a pan
  3. Add garlic and green chilli
  4. When garlic turns brown, add onion and fry till light brown
  5. Add tomato and sauté till mushy
  6. Add paneer, sauté for a minute
  7. Add rice and mix well
  8. Cook for 2 minutes
  9. Garnish with spring onion
