
Ingredients–
- 1 large potato cut into cubes
- 2 raw plantains, peeled and cut into cubes
- 1/2 tsp nigella seeds
- 2 green chillies, slit
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp mustard oil
Method–
- Heat oil in a Kadhai
- Add nigella seeds
- When it splutters, add green chillies
- Add diced potato and sauté for 2-3 minutes
- Add raw plantain and sauté for 2 minutes
- Lower the heat, add turmeric powder, cumin powder and salt
- Sauté till oil releases
- Add 1 cup warm water
- Let it come to a boil
- Lower the heat and cook covered till done
