Afghani Chicken

Ingredients

  • 500 gm chicken
  • 10 cashews
  • 3 tbsp curd
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp chaat masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp fresh cream
  • 1 tbsp kasoori methi (dry fenugreek leaves)
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp oil

Method –

  1. Blend the cashews and curd to a smooth paste
  2. Take all ingredients except oil in a bowl and mix well
  3. Let it marinate for 2 hours
  4. Heat oil in a pan
  5. Add chicken pieces and fry till golden brown
  6. Add the remaining marinade into the pan and add some water
  7. Cover and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes
  8. Serve hot with paratha
