Chicken 65

Ingredients

  • Boneless chicken, cut in bite sized pieces – 500 gm
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • 4 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 4 tbsp cornflour
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
  • 4 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • Oil for deep frying
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tsp chopped garlic
  • 2-3 slit green chillies
  • 2 dry red chillies
  • A sprig of curry leaves

Method –

  1. Marinate the chicken with chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, ginger garlic paste, cornflour, rice flour, lemon juice and salt to taste
  2. Mix well
  3. Add egg. Mix well. Set aside for 30 minutes
  4. Heat oil for deep frying in a deep pan
  5. Add the chicken pieces and fry in batches.
  6. Remove onto an absorbent paper
  7. In another pan, heat 2 tbsp oil
  8. Add cumin seeds
  9. When it crackles, add garlic
  10. Add green chillies, red chillies and curry leaves
  11. Add red chilli paste/sauce
  12. Add the chicken back into the pan
  13. Sauté for 2 minutes and serve
